Abstract

The celebration this year of the second Centenary o f the birth of Charles Darwin offers us the opportunity and the pressing curiosit y about the subject and to be a classic of biological evolution. Leaving aside th e theories and sticking exclusively to the fact of evolution, as a fact sufficiently prove d, yet gives us the opportunity and the urgent need to reflect once more on the problem s, both scientists and philosophers and even the theologians. Our thesis i s that biological trans-specific evolution, (a fact which is sufficiently apart from the explanatory theories), is presented as a process of gradual release of the te rms of the proven of the amorphous material and a process of "emergence" of new and higher forms and access to structures and functions are increasingly intangible. The arrow of the evolution...points to the spirit?
