The advertising cinema in Spain

Abstract

There is a medium that seems to be forgotten by the big advertisers: it is the cinema. Since this invention was created in 1900, technology has improved and emotionally over the years. Advertising can get much juice that evolution, especially the most recent is the advent of digital cinema. The film industry has undergone a sea change in the last fifty years. In this study, we performed an overview of the evolution of cinema as an advertising medium, in Spain. The cinema advertising, at first, took advantage of the capacity to bring great films to project marketing messages on the screen, usually from local advertisers. The first film was produced Spanish advertising between 1945 and 1950 by the brand of pills Okal. The emergence of the Moro brothers in the Spanish advertising landscape was a change in all structures of movie advertising. Many scholars believe that the collapse of the empire Movierecord, symbolizes the decline of film as best entertainment of the twentieth century. Speaking of cinema as an advertising medium, we are referring to the movie theaters.
