Complex objects: the construction of the theory of the royal taboo
Main Article Content
Abstract
Nearly forty years have had to go until a researcher has built a valid explanation of how is being organized the communication of the King of Spain, as it was suggested in Barredo (2013a). This lack of studies has been motivated by the human and material complications which are related to this object: the opacity of the organizers of the Royal House, the refusal of the mass media to show their routines and the lack of a researching tradition in this topic. In the next following pages is explained the used tool, the Grounded Theory, a qualitative perspective not very employed in the studies in Journalism, which offers many advantages as for example the flexibility to examine a complex phenomenon.
